A multi-day (over 3 days) horse-personship program for horse-mad kids aged 7+

​

This is a non-riding program teaching ground-based horse-personship skills, along with opportunities for children to explore and develop critical lifeskills, such as teamwork, communication and emotional regulation.

 

​What we'll cover:

Basic horsepersonship skills - catching, haltering, leading etc.

Basic pony care - feeding, grooming, first aid etc.

Pony communication, body language, and positive reinforcement.

Self-regulation and self-management skills (calm children = calm and safe ponies, so children will
learn how to notice and respond to their feelings before working with our herd)

 

Who is this for?

Children 7-10 years of age who love horses

Children who want to own their own pony, not only do lessons or go on trail rides
